Mahee tandoori has an ethos of serving the best food, while trying to sell the best of British produce where available. The prime emphasis is on controlling the quality and balance of ingredients while not compromising the flavour.

At Mahee Tandoori we make fresh stock daily to maximise the taste. We do not overpower the ingredients with spice, unless requested. We are continuously challenging ourselves to provide a healthy alternative for an enhancement on your traditional Indian/Bangladeshi Cuisine, with some new and interesting dishes. We just hope you enjoy the experience while also enjoying a healthy meal.

Every dish down to the Pilau rice was great, fresh and full of flavour. Even my wife, who has a track record for dismissing sub standard lamb Passanda could not fault it. We felt that the 45 minutes delivery time was optimistic, but was spot on! The delivery guy even managed to find us with his special Sat Nav. I have ordered mushroom fried rice from other takeaways, and it is full of ‘bits’ of other stuff. I did not order ‘random leftover veg from yesterday’ with mushrooms and rice.’ . . . . This is not a resultant, it is a takeaway, so do not expect a table. It just about has room for you to collect your (very good) food.”

The staff are friendly and now know me by my name and the service for collection at least is incredibly fast with our food being ready in 20 minutes usually.
